A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man kept fighting for life after he was allegedly crushed in a hit-and-run smash.
The victim, aged 40, was found with a serious head injury on Friday night in Ardington, West Midlands.
He was taken to the hospital where his condition remains critical.
Gina Brown, 44, has been charged with attempted murder and will be produced from custody at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
He also faces charges of driving above the drink-drive limit and failing to stop.
West Midlands Police confirmed that the victim knew Brown.
The force said: “We have charged a woman with attempt to murder after a man was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Ardington on Friday night.
“We are continuing to appeal to anyone passing through the Reservoir Road area on Friday at around 10 p.m. and may have information to contact us.”
