It’s the terrifying moment when a loose horse is massacred at Feckenham and forcing jockey Jamie Moore to fall horribly.
Moore was sent crashing onto the turf after a run between the Canyon City runners struck Larry 3–1.
Jack Quinlan descends into the 12th fence of a Class 3 three mile competition from the Neil King-trained Canyon City.
At that point it was down to Moore to fight to eliminate Sam Twiston-Davis on Minella Encore and David Bass on Rocky’s Treasure.
But as the bass weakened, Moore rode on a horse trained by his father, Gary, and Twiston-Davis met each other.
Yet as they thundered toward the last, a loose Canyon City charged them.
The video showed Minella Encore running out of the way while Moore had nowhere to go but to go down her mount.
Moor, who was notorious from Goshen when the Triumph handicap at the mercy of the horse at the 2020 Cheltenham Festival, crashed into the turf.
This allowed Twiston-Davis to head home on the Minella Encore for a nice gift on her 29th birthday.
The watching punters could not believe what they had just seen.
One said: “The closest thing racing gets to WWE.”
Another posted: “I’ve never seen an owl like this.”
Luckily all the jockeys and horses were fine after the horrific incident.
It was a huge relief especially for Moore.
The jump jockey broke his back in August last year after falling in Fontwell.
This made him fear that his career might be over and he had two sticks inserted in his back before he fully recovered.
