Oleksandr USYK’s spooky space-age kit helped him gain an edge over Anthony Joshua and perform out-of-this-world, according to its creators.
Before the 31-year-old Watford ace wowed his fans with a bizarrely relaxed ring walk last Saturday, 34-year-old Usyak arrived like a laser-focused astronaut with a futuristic helmet, earning him 60,000 AJ fans. who cheered their Ukraine national anthem and entered.
And JAXET, the Ukraine-designer behind the cutting-edge apparel, has explained to SunSport how their unique fashion-technology blend may have helped give their Martian-like marvel an edge.
Brand’s boss and longtime Usyak friend Artur Mkhitaryan told SunSport: “When Oleksandr first tried the jacket on, he said he felt like he was wearing armor, strong but incredibly comfortable.
“So we think he felt like a superhero ready for battle. The lens itself is mirror-coated but doesn’t impair one’s vision.
“Exactly as we had planned, it is meant to draw the line between one’s inner universe and the outer world.
“So the lens can help you hold and focus whenever necessary.
“We don’t want to comment on Anthony’s admission, he is an amazing player and we believe focus and concentration can come in different forms.
“But we hope that Oleksandr JAXET served as an added boost and support to his confidence, especially considering that he was well prepared and put a great effort into getting ready for the fight.”

Building a high-profile boxing kit isn’t as easy as it used to be, thanks to heavyweight diva Dante Wilder.
Bronze bomber extravagant and apparently the 2st 8lbs Cosmo LA designer Cosmo and Donato generously made for him in February 2020 to hit Tyson Fury’s heavy hand.
The twig-legged KO artist said the battery-powered outfit had drained all of his energy before he surrendered to Sin City, so JAXET did a lot of research to make sure they put Usyk right foot up , given from head to toe.
“We (Wilder) were aware of the story, but we also knew that the unity of style, safety and comfort is in the DNA of our brand,” Mkhitaryan said.
“So we at JAXET listened carefully to Oleksandr’s sentiments and discussed in detail any adjustments needed to work best for him.
“Keeping this in mind, we have also made shorts and shoes on his request.
“And we are extremely proud that they entrusted us with the task of producing such an essential part of their organization that is of vital importance because of its functional role.”
The first time Oleksandr tried on the jacket, he said he felt like he was wearing armor, strong but incredibly comfortable. So we think he felt like a battle-ready superhero.

The eccentric Usik landed in London with a shaved head and new mustache in honor of his Cossack warrior ancestors, and at Thursday’s press conference turned into a terrifying version of Joaquin Phoenix’s Batman villain Joker.
But social media went crazy the most when he made his march through Tottenham Stadium like Neil Armstrong and began making huge leaps towards becoming increasingly WBA, IBF and WBO champions.
And the reflective headgear proved to be a masterstroke as it seemed to help Usyak focus on the gameplan that Team AJ was seriously lacking as the 12 rounds fell away from the Brits’ grasp.
“The lens is our patented invention,” said Mkhitaryan. “It’s smartly integrated into the hood so that it’s invisible when pulled.
“It protects against UV and negative environmental effects.
“All of JAXET’s jackets include such a lens, and it was perfectly aligned with Oleksandr’s vision on his Tottenham entrance. Oleksandr has relied heavily on us throughout the development process.
“We presented him the jacket during our first meeting and adjusted it to take into account the specifics of the incident as it progressed to the Battle of Oleksandr.”
come back ol
The JAXET phone has been red-hot since the arrival of their star model on the canvas of London.
But the brand is eager to outfit Usyak with another suit of armor that will help him double that of AJ.
Mkhitaryan revealed: “We have a long-term innovation pipeline and are now in talks with other celebrities and influencers on new partnerships.
“We now get a lot of inquiries from celebrities and sportspersons after the admission of Oleksandr.
“If Joshua is up for a rematch, we’d definitely love to think of a more perfect JAXET outfit for the big fight for Alexander.”
