‘Harry Potter’ star says ‘it was a little scary episode’
Tom Felton updated fans on his health in a video shared on Instagram on Saturday.
The 34-year-old actor shocked fans when he fell during a recent appearance at a celebrity exhibition during the Ryder Cup. At the time, a friend of Felton’s convinced fans said he was “fine.”
The “Harry Potter” star has now addressed the “horror episode” herself.
“Wanted to say a big thank you for all the lovely wishes lately,” he added in the clip. “Yeah, it was a really scary episode.”

“I’m on the mend,” Felton continued. “People are watching, taking really good care of me, so thank you so much for the messages of ‘get well soon’ because I’m officially fine.”

Ryder Cup organizers said Felton experienced “a medical incident” in Whistling Straits and was taken to hospital for treatment. He did not provide any other information at that time.
Felton was on the 18th hole when he fell. He was helped to his feet, put on a stretcher and driven into a golf cart.
Felton was representing Europe in the Celebrity Match, which is held the day before the start of the Americas and Europe Ryder Cups.
