Hundreds of protesters took to the streets in New York City’s Times Square on Saturday to protest coronavirus vaccine mandate requirements.
Protesters can be seen waving flags and signs on Saturday, many of whom are chanting against mandatory vaccines.

“We will back down against widespread propaganda by creating our own media, and advancing our own narrative, rather than pressuring us. We will not accept the massive politicization of science and medicine, And we will return these institutions, being neutral sources of information for the benefit of society over government and corporate interests,” said a press release about Saturday’s event on the organizers’ website.

Earlier this summer, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio starring A policy mandates that New Yorkers who want to go to bars, restaurants, gyms and other local businesses must show proof of having been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
It is unknown whether any arrests were made or any road closures were made as a result of the Times Square protest.
The New York Police Department declined to comment on the protest when contacted by Granthshala News.
