THIS MORNING fans were treated to a guest today who claimed she was in a loving relationship — with a Victorian ghost named Edwardo.
The romantic spook, who he said was a soldier when he was alive, went to meet him in bed and held his hand.
The woman, introduced only as Brocard, says that Edwardo visits her in the shower and draws a heart of love for her on the mirror.
He too has come up to her at night, holds her hand and appears in the form of jealousy in her heart.
She also told this morning’s audience that she had seen him walk through the darkness of her bedroom.
But fans were quick to ask, since he can’t really speak, how does he know the ghost’s name is Edwardo.
One wrote: “However though she knows his name Eduardo. That’s what I want to know.”
Another tweeted: “I mean, I can’t even get a text back, but this morning there’s a woman who is in a relationship with a ghost named Edwardo. #singlelife.”
The third joked: “Bloody alien ghost, coming here and taking our women.”
When asked how they met, Brocard told hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary: “I was at home, I had one of those terrible days – I had a fall out with a friend of mine.
“I was tossing and turning on the bed and I literally felt this burning in my heart out of nowhere.
“No pain, it was a physical burning and a deep sensation in my chest. It was alarming in the beginning, it was really intense and I was having difficulty breathing.
“And then I was carried on. I was stiff. I was trembling and in tears and then literally nothing, I got cold.
“I was trying to turn on the light by reaching the side table of my bed and this hand grabbed my arm and threw it back.”
When asked by Dermot when she first saw her future boyfriend, she replied: “I saw a figure just pass by and then nothing.”
