Saskatoon – From vehicles being abandoned on roads to entire property now only accessible by boat, flood damage has been widespread in parts of British Columbia.

Aerial photos show long stretches of abandoned highway, with vehicles including tractor-trailers stuck in flood waters. There is no deadline for when highways can reopen.

The floods have also forced hundreds of people to leave their homes. Some pictures show families being rescued from the boat.
