Drummond showed how to make his three-ingredient chocolate cake recipe in an episode of leading lady And he had a simple trick to replace the flour and sugar used in a normal cake batter. Drummond used hard chocolate cookies that he put in a food processor and finely crumbled.
“You just want to buy chocolate cookies that are very, very hard and crunchy,” she advised. “So you don’t want to buy ones with cream fillings because that will make them too moist. You want really dry and crispy chocolate cookies.”
