For Drummond, the decision to accept the role (which was written for him) was a no-brainer. “It’s definitely my first film. I’m not an actor, I’m the host of a cooking show, but when Food Network asked if I wanted to participate in their first Christmas movie, I thought I did 2 Said yes in seconds,” Drummond said.

I can’t get into this picture anyhow.” I am not taking it from me,” she explained.
Drummond shared that the writer/director saw the Food Network star line up with him on Zoom. “It really coached me through the scenes and gave me things to think about and so when I landed here in Utah, I had the moment where I thought, ‘There’s literally no going back now,’ and I’m actually gonna be up to the task.”

And then my 18-year-old Bryce said, ‘Something Don’t say too nice, please,’” she explained. “So that was like the last message I got from my supportive family.”
Will she take on more acting roles? Drummond joked that she was up for her Oscar, adding, “I’m going to be up my alley with my cooking show. I’m not going to pursue a career in acting, but if another Christmas movie comes out.” If it comes, I would love to join in.”
