In Canada Common, UK, visitors can walk the main road, named – of course – Canada Road, which leads to Canada Cottages.

Down Canada Road is a chapel, standing on the edge of a large forest, which holds some notoriety to historians. This is where Canadian troops were stationed in the lead up to D-Day during World War II.

“I found out I wasn’t who I thought I was, and my father was actually a Canadian soldier,” Ian Marriott told Granthshala National News. “I’ve taken more interest in Canada, which we have both locally and in the country.”
