According to last-minute rumours, Apple is about to upgrade the iPhone 13 with a massive amount of new storage.
The company is planning to release the new phone in the same options that are offered in the iPhone 12, multiple reports have suggested. But according to a report by credible analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and reported by Apple Insider, it will be adding a new storage option, giving people a full terabyte of storage.
This will double the existing storage and bring it more in line with traditional computers than phones. The report suggests that the option will only be available in more premium models – hence the Pro and Pro Max, but not the standard iPhone 13 or Mini – and will come with a price jump for it.
The iPhone 13 is widely rumored to be the headline feature of Apple’s event this week, and is expected to bring improvements in the camera, a smaller notch in the top of the display, and an improved processor.
The same report also suggests that Apple is preparing to launch Apple Watch Series 7 at the same event. Previous rumors suggested that it could either be delayed or difficult to buy as a result of production problems – but they have been resolved and there may be some supply issues at launch, similar to the new Apple Watch. is expected to be released.
The new version of the Apple Watch is widely expected to bring the first substantial redesign in hardware in years. This is set to include a larger display and the introduction of flat edges, which have already been introduced in the iPhone, iPad and iMac.
With those, Apple is expected to reveal the long-awaited AirPods 3, claimed Mr. Kuo. But he also suggested that existing AirPods stay around, possibly allowing Apple to charge more for the new one or lower the price of the existing one.
The AirPods 3 is expected to bring some design features from the AirPods Pro, including the smaller stalk.
