Ruksana Carroll tells Granthshala News she is ‘very careful’ on social media for security reasons
“The Circle” returns with its third season and several new contestants are ready to flirt, make friends, and make their way toward the $100,000 grand prize.
In this Netflix competition series, players are isolated in their own apartments and must choose whether to portray themselves or fake individuals on a social media app called The Circle.
Throughout the series, players rate each other and the top tier become “influencers” with the power to block another profile, so the contestant is removed from the game.
The game brings new twists, but the challenge of finding out who the catfish is remains. Contestant Michelle Ryder told Granthshala News, “You never know who you’re messaging. You never know who you’re ‘sending the circle message’… and that’s one of the hardest things to do, figure out.” have to try.”

Meanwhile, artist Ruksana Carroll teases what her strategy will be. “I am going to be me. I have nothing to hide.” he told Granthshala. “I’m a mom. I’m just going to be very honest. I just felt like whoever is catfishing or not, this is what I instantly vibe with.”
Another player, Daniel Cusimano, admitted that his plans for the game changed once he started talking to people.
“I was like, ‘I’m going to be like, choke.’ I’m going to end it with, like, burn down the house. But then you meet real real people like Ruksana. And I was like, I love her. I’ll do whatever it takes to get to the end of the game. I can do that. But it’s like, do you have to, but you have people behind you too,” he told Granthshala.
As part of the bigger picture, being part of “The Circle” gave each person a new perspective on how they used social media.
Ruksana confessed, “I’ve been on TV before, so I’ve done a few things [from strangers] sent to my house. It’s a little crazy for a married woman with a child,” she revealed. “I’m very brainwashed because once [information] out there, out there. I’m four foot four. It’s easy to find me if you put me in the crowd. so i’m a little more [concerned] For that security aspect. I’m re-thinking where I’ll jump and go nowhere and don’t care. I think about it now”
Daniels said that he is open to praise and criticism from fans of the viral series. “I was just like, baby, I’ll keep doing me,” he said. “Whether you like me, or you don’t… you get what you see and dot-blank with a period. So that’s really my biggest takeaway from the show.”
“The Circle” is currently streaming on Netflix.
