Strictly star John White gives fans a peek at the set of Netflix’s The Crown from his dressing room window.
The chef’s scene at Elstree Studios looks straight at the award-winning royal drama, with its huge green screen and trailers.
Walking around the set, John, wearing a black vest, said: “How cool?”
He continued: “I can start waiting to see if I can look at Imelda Staunton and say ‘I don’t like you in Harry Potter because you were bad’.”
Imelda will play Queen Elizabeth II in the upcoming fifth series, replacing Olivia Colman, who recently won an Emmy for portrayal.
The final installment covers the darkest years of the Queen’s life, including the separation of her two sons from their wives, the massive fire at Windsor Castle, and the controversy surrounding the death of Princess Diana.
It was revealed two years ago how the demanding role of Imelda was going — who married Downton Abbey star Jim Carter, 72, who played butler Mr. Carson in the ITV period drama.
In Harry Potter, she played the villainous Hogwarts professor Dolores Umbridge, who famously wrote lines to students magically and brutally carved into their skin.
Bake Off winner John has partnered with Johannes Radebe to form Strictly’s first all-male pairing.
He impressed New Order’s Blue Monday in the first week with a powerful tango that left Johannes in tears.
Tonight they will starstruck Cha Cha by year and year.
