Strictly Come Dancing stars Gorka Marquez and Katie McGlynn are on a united front as they appeared on It Takes Two this evening.
The pair suggest to fans that they don’t get along after viewers see “tension” on the dance floor.
But Gorka and Katie certainly seemed overjoyed as they chatted with Rylan Clark-Neil about their upcoming dance this evening.
Katie is set to play Cruella de Vil as she performs on a song from the new film Cruella, which will be a big change for her.
She explained: “She’s evil, she’s a fashionista, she’s so impressive, she’s above everyone else.
“So yeah, it would be really fun to play. I like to play bad guys, yeah, because I want to say I’m not bad.”
Showing how good they are, Gorka said to her: “No, you are like the sweetest girl.”
Over the weekend, the pro dancer opened up about their relationship.
He added: “And those who think we’re not moving forward, keep thinking [thumbs up and crying laughing emois]”
Viewers after Saturday night’s show took to social media to point out the “tension” between Katie, 28, and Gorka, 31, both on the show and on their respective social media accounts.
Fans noted that Spanish star Gorka looked sad in a post the soap actress prepared for her second dance before the live show.
This came after the pair appeared to disagree about the time Hollyoaks star Katie spent in rehearsal as she had given up dancing for filming.
He was seen filming for Hollyoaks in Liverpool as Gorka said ahead of his dance that he had “no hours to train”.
“If you achieve what you do without any experience and hours of training, I can’t wait to see the rest,” the professional dancer told her last week.
Despite wooing the judges, fans couldn’t help but notice how the tension continued after their second dance.
