Dan Walker is getting ready to Strictly pack his stuff tonight — but there’s one thing he won’t do.
The 44-year-old BBC Breakfast host has revealed a funny “muscle suit” that he says he refuses to wear to this evening’s live show.
In the photo, the broadcaster can be seen wearing a Ken doll-like suit.
They are often worn under costumes to give the illusion of a more muscular figure.
But Dan had none of it, and he shared a hilarious photo of himself wearing it on Instagram.
Next to the picture he wrote: “I’ve been asked if I want to wear a muscle suit to tonight’s dance… I declined.”
Dan’s showbiz friends were loving the hilarious photo, with Oti Mabuse saying: “Hahaha stop it!”
While Zoe Ball commented: “Nice mourning chief!”
Tonight Dan and his partner Nadia Bychkova will dance on Paso Doble to Giant by Calvin Harris.
Meanwhile, last week’s show saw Dan “collapse” after his fast-paced exhausting move.
Newsreaders lay down on the famous BBC Breakfast red couch after their first live dance.
But it was all fun as he bounced back to be criticized by the judges, who were “pleasantly surprised” by the 6ft 6in dancer.
She was awarded 24 points in total – and now has a gift to her dance partner Nadia Bychkova after scoring double digits.
Speaking backstage with Claudia Winkleman, Dan said: “I’ve spent most of my life afraid of the dance floor because I’m tall and awkward.
“This amazing woman has enabled me to do this in just ten days’ time, which is truly incredible.
“She deserves all the praise for me not looking like an idiot out there.”
He continued: “I said I would give him a gift if we got double digits, so I better settle it.”
Dan dedicated his first appearance on the show to Minchin, his former BBC Breakfast co-host.
“She left last week, hopefully she’s looking,” Dan said.
“We miss you, we love you and wish you all the best off the couch.”
It’s been a dramatic few weeks for Dan who was taken to the hospital hours before the series’ launch last month.
The star suffered a horrific accident after hitting a glass door while running to get her wallet.
The Morning Telly favorite revealed she was taken in after feeling “woozy”.
He explained in the post’s caption: “A little head-based drama today! Sent me to A&E today after hitting my noggin on the big glass window yesterday because I was stuttering a bit.
“A lovely nurse from Barnett Hospital named Karina checked my vitals and 6ft 9 consultant Eric Witt gave me a CT scan to check for bleeding on the brain. Thankfully…well.
“I have to rest for a few days – so I’ll be a little behind – but am ready to dig in again next week. A timely reminder of how amazing the NHS is.”
