Neena Wadia has become the first star to quit Strictly Come Dancing.
The former EastEnders actress lost a dance-off with Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn and professional dancer Gorka Marquez on Sunday night’s show.
Wadia, known for her roles in the BBC One soap and Goodness Gracious Me, got 18 runs for Tango with partner Neil Jones on Saturday.
The judges’ scores from Saturday were combined from the previous week before being combined with the results of the public vote, with the bottom two couples competing in a dance-off in front of the judges.
After opting to save McGlynn, Judge Craig Ravel Horwood said: “Well, both couples clearly up their game by dancing for the first time.
“Nina, you made every move. Katie, you really kept the energy up till the end with a lot of backtracking but the couple I want to save is Katie and Gorka.”

Chief Justice Shirley Ballas said Sunday’s show featured “one of the closest dance-off battles I’ve ever seen”.
“Both couples stepped up their game. Both couples were absolutely delightful to watch,” she said.
“It wasn’t the fault of either couple so I decided to go with the couple who had more advanced technical actions in their dance and that couple is Katie and Gorka.”
When asked about his time on the show, Wadia said: “It was really fun, thank you very much.

Sunday’s results show also featured a group performance of Tom Grenon’s song Something Better from professional dancers.
Television presenter AJ Odudu and his partner Kai Widdington topped the overall leaderboard for the first two weeks.
However, influencer Tilly Ramsay’s Charleston took the joint top score with Dragon’s Den star Sarah Davis’s Foxtrot on Saturday.
The remaining 14 couples will perform movie-themed routines next week.
