Strictly fans were blown away tonight when Johannes Radebe told dance partner John White that he “loves” her.
The pair sent the audience into meltdown during a “Flirty” appearance on It Takes Two this evening.
The pair talked about their show-stopping performance over the weekend to host Rylan Clark-Neal, which got them three tens of thousands from the judges.
Johannes admitted: “I’m still buzzing, I’m not going to lie,” as both were nervous about how they would top their Paso Doble.
When Rylan commented on the fact that Chief Justice Shirley Ballas was very impressed with his Movie Week routine because he had heard criticism from him from the week before, Johannes said: “It was important that we included what he talked about. Was getting it done.”
Smiling at Bake Off winner John, he then added: “And I must say, I love this guy! I really do!”
Viewers at home were loving their interview and took to Twitter to share their joy at the moment, with this person tweeting: “The chemistry that’s unmatched in John and Johannes this year!! #ItTakesTwo #Strictly. “
Another viewer said: “John and Johannes are very flirtatious. Sitting really close and touching each other and talking so sweetly about each other. I send them and I’m sorry too No. #ItTakesTwo #TeamJoJo.”
A third added: “John and JoJo please #ItTakesTwo to win all things.
This viewer tweeted: “I could watch john and jojo’s paso on loop for hours tbh #ItTakesTwo #itt.”
The pair have built a strong friendship as they made history as the first male same sex couple on Strictly.
However their onscreen chemistry may have unfairly troubled John’s boyfriend, Paul Atkins.
This comes after the graphic designer looked furious after her partner’s sexy dance with a South African dancer at her first live show.
John and Johannes impressed the judges with their tango performance and managed an impressive 30 out of 40 score.
But when the pair talked to host Claudia Winkleman after their performance, Paul Atkins looked furious at the camera.
The presenter praised Johannes for changing the lead and mentioned Paul, John’s long-term partner.
Since the BBC show’s arrival on our screens in 2004, the dreaded “Strictly Curse” has managed to break several relationships.
Victims of the curse include Stacy Dooley, Diane Buswell and Sean Walsh.
John and Paul have been together for over a decade and got engaged in 2017.
- Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday and Sunday nights on BBC One.
