Stacey Solomon has finally revealed her daughter’s name a week after giving birth.
The TV favorite turned to fans for help choosing what to call the little girl over the weekend, and has now announced her and fiancée Joe Swash’s decision.
Stacey and Joe Rose have settled on the opal Esme Solomon-swash, after spending a few days trying out different names to “see which one is a good fit for her.”
Sharing an adorable photo of her daughter lying beside a rose wearing a pink knit babygro, the star wrote: “🌹Rose opal, Esme Solomon-swash. ️”
She continued: “Our beautiful flower – our precious jewel – is always loved. It’s been the most magical week. We love you to the moon and return our little rose
“We feel so lucky to have you here…Thank you all for your beauty, your kindness and it has been the best being there just for a chat at 3am. Love you all ️”
The TV favorite welcomed baby Rose last Monday, which was also her 32nd birthday.
She had asked fans for help in searching for the newborn’s name, admitting at the time: “My mind is completely blank.
“There are some we love that’s why we’re calling them at the moment and seeing which one suits them best, I know that probably sounds silly.”
The mother of four set out to name her first daughter after the season in which she was born.
But Stacy and Joe gleefully realized that her full name would then be Autumn Solomon—swash—with an unfortunate initial.
“We loved the name Autumn, but then we realized her name would be ASS,” Stacy explained to fans on Instagram.
“So it helped us to rule out all the ‘A’ names.”
The Loose Women star previously stated that her little girl was “the best birthday gift” she could have asked for.
She wrote: “Here she is. Born at Pickle Cottage on mom’s birthday. Our little girl…Happy birthday my sweet daughter…
“We all love you more than you can imagine. Your brother, your dad and I love you so much.
“Thank you for the most incredible 9 months. Now we can’t wait to be with you for the rest of our lives… .”
Since then, Stacy has opened up about her difficulty breastfeeding, admitting that she felt “sad” that she was struggling.
She had the same problem with her youngest son, Rex, two years old, when he was born.
Stacey confessed to feeling “like a failure” for not being able to feed her newborn on time, and spoke candidly about missing out on bonding with him.
She told her followers this time: “I’m struggling to feed again this time, so spending all my energy feeding, eating and resting.
“Also seeing local lactation specialists and community midwives who have been incredible, so this time hoping for a more positive journey at the end but not putting pressure on myself.”
Stacey added: “Even though it makes me a little sad. Whatever happens will happen.”
The TV favorite documented her struggle with Rex in 2019, sharing at the time: “Breastfeeding never happened for me the way I imagined. I tried my best to try and master it, but it happened Wasn’t supposed to be.”
