It wasn’t always easy for Emma Kenny on the set of “Shameless.”
The 22-year-old actress recently opened up about her time on the show during an episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, specifically reflecting on her relationship with star Emmy Rossum.
According to the Daily Mail, during her interview, Kenny claimed that Rossum, 35, made her feel “anxious” when she was on set.
“If she had a bad day, she would have made a bad day for everyone,” she couple.

Kenny revealed that she “hasn’t spoken to in years” with her former co-star since Rossum left the show in 2019.
“Shameless” ran from 2011-2019 and featured Rossum as William H. Featuring Massey in a leading role. Kenny played a supporting role in the ensemble.
Initially, Kenny said the set of “Shameless” was “weird” after Rossum’s exit, but eventually, the vibe became more “positive” without the actress.

Despite his allegations of poor behavior by Rossum, Kenny claimed that they shared a “sister relationship”, although it was in “good and bad ways”.
She said Rossum would swap between a “good impression” to offer “not the best advice”.

She also said that she has “a lot of love” for her former co-stars after knowing “for so long”, though they are not close.
“But that’s okay. I have a lot of love for her, and I hope she finds her happiness,” she repeated. “I hear she’s having a baby and she’s beautiful and I’m sure she’s going to be a lovely mom.”
The tension between the two came from a sense of competition between them, Kenny said, though he wasn’t sure whether it stemmed from Rossum himself, or if it was fueled by others. However, she is certain that she “wasn’t making it.”
A representative for Rossum did not immediately respond to Granthshala News’ request for comment.
