Daniel Ricciardo will finally get his prize at the US GP in Austin, Texas, this weekend after winning his bet with McLaren boss Zak Brown.

Brown agreed to the stakes at the season’s inaugural Bahrain Grand Prix, saying ‘get us that podium, and the drive is all yours’.
After Ricciardo’s win at the Italian GP last month, Brown has honored his word, Tweet ‘A deal is a deal’.
He’ll get his chance in Austin this weekend with a one-off race at the famous motor.
Earnhardt was a NASCAR veteran, winning 76 Winston Cup races during his four-decade career.
He is the only driver in NASCAR history to have won one race every decade.

Earnhardt drove for most of his career with number three on his car – Ricciardo’s racing number – before suffering a fatal crash on the last lap of the Daytona 500 in 2001.
Ricciardo’s win at Monza was his first Grand Prix win in a season with Aston Martin since Monaco in 2018.
The win was his eighth first in Formula 1, with his debut in Canada in 2014.

The McLaren driver is currently eighth in the drivers’ standings with 95 points, ahead of teammate Lando Norris in fourth on 145 points.
