However, she admitted that they had arguments and that her mother did not like the situation as she felt that Bassett might be trying to stay away from her daughter. Additionally, Dillard implied that she has no contract with her husband as her manager. Regardless, she claimed that she trusts her husband and would not marry him if she thought he would have used her.
Bryant told Dillard that she doesn’t want Bassett to “annoy” Bassett because she’s focused on building a career while she isn’t. She also admitted that she’s worried she’s riding her “coattail.” While Dillard acknowledged the concern, she insisted that she “knows” their marriage.
