Around this time, Gomez’s music career was also taking off. She decided she wanted to make an album in all Spanish. “Can’t wait to hear the Spanish record for you all 😉 It sounds great,” she tweeted in January 2011. However, the project will take another decade to complete.

Working on ‘Khulasa’ was a tough process
Gomez worked hard to complete the Spanish record. He invited many of the Latinx music community to assist him behind the scenes. “Everything I was doing was based on Latin directors and photographers, the designers I wore,” she said in an Artist Spotlight video Youtube Music. “Every part of this project was completely built to be a Spanish record.”
He also collaborated with record producer and songwriter Tanny. It was easy because they had worked together before. Tanny was grateful for the opportunity to help Gomez with her work.

Will Gomez have a future album in Spanish?
Because she first became famous for singing in English, some people expect that she will return. But Gomez worked very hard to perfect her Spanish singing skills. Revelation. Even though she was fluent when she was younger, Gomez needed training to gain her grip on the language and correct the slang.
Have fans seen his last Spanish album? Maybe not. Gomez has stated several times that she is now more comfortable singing in Spanish than in English. While it is unlikely that she plans to turn to music entirely in Spanish, she recently collaborated with Colombian artist Camilo for the single “999”.
