Country superstar helped out of second story window by firefighters
Reba McEntire was one of several people rescued after a staircase collapsed from a historic building in Oklahoma this week.
video received by News 12 Shows the country superstar being assisted out a second story window and onto a fire ladder by firefighters in downtown Atoka, Okla.
“We were just touring the building and the ladder was weak, but we didn’t realize how weak it was until several people went down and then we heard the crash and saw the stairs fall,” said the site Coby Sherrill. But another visitor remembered for the outlet.

The city’s director of emergency management, Travis Mullins, confirmed to Granthshala News that the incident happened on Tuesday, but declined to comment on McEntire’s appearance.
Reports say McEntire was checked on site by paramedics and is fine. McEntire’s reps did not immediately return Granthshala News’ request for comment.
McEntire was reportedly checking the site for an upcoming project, but little details were given about what exactly caused him to visit.
It is being told that this building is more than 100 years old.
