Quebec is reporting 742 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday and four additional deaths due to the virus.
Health officials say the number of hospitalizations rose from 13 to 277 from Saturday’s level, while the number of patients in intensive care fell by two to 87.
The seven-day average for new cases is 748.

Of the most recent infections, the province says 513 are among people who have been non-vaccinated or who received only one dose less than 14 days ago.
The province delivered 17,366 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday; Of which 5,478 were the first dose.
About 88 percent of Quebecers age 12 and older have received at least one dose, while close to 83 percent are considered fully vaccinated with two shots.
