Biden administration officials were on the defensive Tuesday after images of a shocking confrontation between desperate Haitian migrants and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents on horseback were filmed and circulated on social media.
The images, which clearly show CBP agents attempting to drive away migrants in specific areas, comes as the Biden administration has set out to respond to the more than 14,000 migrants who landed in the region over the past few days. Homeland Security is increasing personnel.
In particular, several images of CBP agents swinging their horse-drawn reins in a whipping motion drew sharp criticism from progressives and human rights advocates, who compared the images to America’s black racist history of the Southern Slave Patrol. Did it from

Ms Psaki said on Tuesday “I don’t know anyone who has seen that video” who wouldn’t think the images were “horrible and horrifying”.
