atlanta – The September 29th Powerball results are on the line with an estimated half a billion dollars drawing in.
The winning numbers for Wednesday night’s drawing are 02, 07, 11, 17, 32, and Powerball is 11. Power play was 3.
The jackpot has reached $570 million, the second-highest prize this year – trailing only the $731.1 million it won in Baltimore in January.
“This will be our first Powerball jackpot since the game launched its third weekly drawing on Monday night,” said May Shave Reardon, president of Powerball Product Group and executive director of the Missouri Lottery. “We wanted to give players more opportunities to get into the game, and now that the jackpot has crossed the half-billion mark, it’s generating a lot of excitement.”
Lottery officials will pick up a new batch of winning numbers at 10:59 p.m. ET.
The grand prize winner will match the numbers on all five white balls (1 – 69) and the red powerball (1 – 26). Statistically, you have only one in 292.2 million chances of success.
But the chances of you winning a smaller prize are much higher by matching fewer numbers. Matching the numbers on five white balls without the Powerball could still net you $1 million. And the cost of mixing four white balls with the Powerball is $50,000.
According to Powerball, all players have a 24.9 chance of winning a prize of any level, which can be worth as little as $4. But if you overcome incredible odds to earn the jackpot, you have a decision: cash or annuity.

The cash option will give the winner a one-time lump sum payment equal to the value of the prize pool. In Wednesday’s drawing, this equates to an estimated $410.1 million.
An annuity will give the winner 30 small payments over 29 years. By inflation, each payment is 5% larger than the previous payment.
Both payment options are subject to federal and local taxes.
No one has won the Powerball jackpot since a winning ticket was sold in Florida this June, allowing the current grand prize to creep into record territory. It is the eighth highest award in Powerball history.
If no one wins on Wednesday night, the jackpot will continue to grow. But once the winning ticket is sold, the jackpot will be reset to $40 before the next drawing.
