Think you’ve seen it all? Netflix does not. The streamer has just released the first horror film ‘written’ entirely by ‘Bots’. Here’s how the streaming giant did the seemingly impossible with comedic sendups. Plus, learn how you can watch short films.
The name of the movie is ‘Mr. Puzzles wants you to live less’
Mr Puzzles wants you to live less The result of a comedic effort by a professional comedian in partnership with Netflix. Posted on his YouTube Comedy Hub, netflix is a joke 4 min 22 sec video on october 6, 2021 is…weird.
But it’s also a hilarious dispatch of horror movies. Moreover, it is not the first of its kind. The short horror film’s caption read, “We worked with Keaton Patti to watch over 400,000 hours of horror movies and then write our own horror film.” “This is what came with it.”
netflix is a joke also issued The first standup comedy special made entirely out of Bots. written by; Bots completely. The first stoner movie written by, And Bots completely. first romantic comedy written by in the last 7 months. Additionally, author Keaton Petty created Bots completely. first holiday movie written by In December of 2020.
Simple like that… isn’t it?
While the “horror movie” wasn’t actually written by bots, the task was still difficult. Keaton Patti is a writer and comedian. He is best known for his work Jimmy Kimmel Live! But he has also contributed as a writer for The New Yorker, The Onion, Comedy Central, Funny or Die, and Marvel.
In short, no one can write a movie written only by bots.
Short Netflix film capitalizes on horror movie tropes
To Yahoo! The short horror film playfully touches upon the genre’s infamous tropes. The main animated character “Jennifer” asks in a sullen voice: “What’s up? Where am I? I should be at the sexy summer camp.”
The plot features Mr Puzzles, jealous of the puzzle he never had, chasing, ahem – puzzles. Additionally, of course, he wants revenge. Mr Puzzles shoos Jennifer away, and the horror movie turns wacky.
Eagle-eyed horror fans will see the dispatch and references Friday the 13th slasher franchise, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre suffrage, Grudge, And I Know What You Did Last Summer, among others.
“A puppet with a mask made in Texas or hell rides an average unicycle with three wheels,” reads the hilarious narration.
Later in the screenplay, hanging from the ceiling, Jennifer pleads for her life, “I don’t know the houses. I am a virgin. My father will pay you for not killing me. Maybe not my mother.”
“This is the wrong house,” replies the merciless Mr. Puzzles. “Result.” Then he hits the “results” button with a dagger.
If this all sounds a little redundant, that’s because it is. Writer Keaton Patti has literally made a side business of his “entirely written by bots” videos.
