This is the moment a cyclist was propelled through the air after banging his head into a slow-moving car at a busy junction.
Shocked motorist Angela Johnstone, 54, sitting at a traffic light in Blackpool, captured the collision on her dashboard.
The cyclist, who is approaching from the right, can be seen cycling at a speed towards the oncoming traffic below.
A blue car can be seen slowing down at the junction, with indicators indicating they wish to turn left.
But this time the cyclist can be heard applying the brakes.
It then collides with the front part of the car.
The cyclist is thrown from his bike and then bounces off the bonnet and falls to the ground.
The number plate of the car fell after the collision.
Ms Johnstone, who was then going to Blackpool on holiday from Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, could be heard shouting: “Oh my God!’ As soon as the incident unfolds.”
She claims that the motorist left the scene before police arrived after the cyclist reportedly said: “You must leave or I will punch you.”
Ms Johnstone’s husband Gordon posted the video on Facebook on 2 October.
The caption read: “This was my wife driving the car in Blackpool. When she got home she said she witnessed a hit and run as the driver, however stopped, then left the scene.
“He talked to the police and the cyclist, the cyclists were aware that he was doing 30mph at the time.
“I reminded my wife of my dashcam and let’s say I have a different point of view and look at it as she does.”
