Investigators are seeking help in identifying the driver of a Blue Dodge Avenger, model year 2010-2011, who was seen driving down Southwest 8th Street on July 27 at 6:56 p.m. Police said the unidentified persons are not considered suspects or persons of interest.

More than two months after Vaughan’s disappearance, investigators still don’t know what happened to him. The long, detailed search involved more than a dozen law enforcement agencies, K-9 units, dive teams, paragliders and drones.

Last month, police said there was no trace of the missing boy in any of the recently cut fields, including the corn fields that the community was concerned about.
