Peel police say a 19-year-old man has been arrested after a pedestrian died in a collision last month.
Police said that on August 31, two vehicles collided at the intersection of Countryside Drive and Mountainous Road at around 8 pm.
The 71-year-old victim was standing at the corner of Countryside Drive, and police say the impact of the collision hit one of the vehicles on the curb and hit a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to a trauma center in a life-threatening condition and recently died of his injuries.
Police say a 19-year-old from Brampton has been charged with a dangerous operation that caused bodily harm and died from a dangerous operation. He will be produced in court in December 2021.
