Kate Siegel’s scariest role is in ‘The Haunting of Bailey Manor’ (2020)

Kate Siegel’s Marisol in Oculus (2013)
Next in our ranking of Seagull’s roles is his small but frightening part oculus. She plays Marisol Chavez, one of the many victims of the haunted mirror. at the climax of oculus, Marisol returns from the tomb in the form of a terrifying illusion that Siegel calls the “snake weapon”.
“There’s a lot of physicality to Marisol because there’s no dialogue,” Siegel tells WebMD. Entertainment Weekly. “If you look at his arms, we’ve turned his hands in the opposite direction, so it looks like a mirror reflection. When I was talking about what I wanted to do, I [referenced] Mirror Warps.” Thus, Siegel’s very frightening “snake arms” arose to frighten spectators everywhere.
Theo Crane in ‘The Haunting of Hill House’ (2018)
The Haunting of Hill House Theo Crane might be one of Siegel’s most badass roles. Gifted with a psychic ability activated through touch, Theo wears gloves to avoid the horrors seen through physical contact.
Theo works hard to protect herself from her potential by wearing gloves from an early age. But when the Crane family seeks clarity about the death of Niels (Victoria Pedretti) by suicide, Theo becomes the unlikely hero.
Erin Green in ‘Midnight Mass’ (2021)
Seagull’s latest project is midnight Mass. The seven-episode mini-series is about a small, isolated island community divided. When the disgraced Riley (Zach Guilford) and the charismatic Father Paul (Hamish Linklater) show up in town, they part ways.

Seagal’s dedication to playing a deaf woman is unbelievable. “If I had flipped that shot, all day [would be] Wasted,” she tells Entertainment Weekly about the scene where the masked killer breaks in. As an indie production, they only had one door to work with. “That kind of focus was something that I hadn’t worked together in my career,” she adds. Siegel’s work behind the scenes and on screen goes unrecognized, leading Maddie to play her fiery role.
