Kate Ferdinand shared a rare photo of son Cree as she and husband Rio took the tot for soft play on TODAY.
The 30-year-old media personality captured a cute picture of 42-year-old retired footballer Rio, who was holding his nine-month-old son on the equipment.
Kate wrote: “Daddy came to soft play with us before work today.”
Yesterday Kate posted an adorable shot of her stepdaughter Tia getting ready for school with her baby brother.
In the photo, Cree, dressed as a white kid, sees Tia, who is having breakfast before leaving for school.
Captioning the picture, she wrote: “Can I have some cereal too please big sister?”
Kate is also stepmother to Rio’s boys Lorenz, 14, and Tate, 12, and previously spoke about their blended family in a 2020 documentary.
The one-time show saw Kate become stepmother to the former footballer’s children with his late wife Rebecca Ellison, who died of cancer in 2015 at the age of 34.
In the doc, Ryo reveals that his father had objections about Kate, which resulted in him having “words”.
Rio’s father, Julian, told the BBC special that his priority was the well-being of his grandchildren as they came to terms with the death of their mother, and feared that Kate would “take the role of stepmother at the age of 25″. was too young”.
The family, however, overcame their issues and earlier this year Kate hailed her husband’s rare father, Julian, as her ‘best father-in-law’.
Kate and Rio began dating in late 2016 after meeting in Dubai after she split from her towy ex Dan Edgar.
Three years after meeting, the couple exchanged vows in September 2019 in front of 180 friends and family on the soaking shores of Marmaris, Turkey.
The big day came after noon the next day when Ryo’s daughter played the important role of the maid of honor.
Love-up Rio and Kate concluded their three-day celebration at a £4000 a night hotel with a pool party.
In June 2020, Kate announced she was pregnant with a heartbreaking video of the moment she revealed her three stepchildren.
The couple welcomed Cree into the world on December 18.
