There was chaos on social media during the entire incident. Some fans were quick to share their doubts over Emodio’s performance and suggested that he threw the game.
“He dived. Clear,” a follower commented On Instagram. “What a great player, I think he was and chose to lose,” commented one fan. “I think he threw it. He changed the way he placed his bets and I think he was trying to lose,” said someone.
Many were suspicious of Amodio’s sudden loss of knowledge in last night’s game, given his stellar track record in all things trivia.
