Emodio has beaten a huge number of competitors during its million-dollar winning streak Danger! Yet none of his opponents forbade Amodio for his victory, and did not even praise his friendly behavior.
“I heard many times – I’d brag about it – people say, ‘I couldn’t lose to a good guy,’” the computer science student explained. Vulture. “Those comments made me feel good. I try to be condescending. I mean, I got lucky.”
NS Danger! The winner takes pride in the accolade and noted the challenges each contestant faced during each game. Even with its profitable track record, Emodio does not rank itself higher than its fellow players.
“I’m as proud of him as anything else,” he said of the comments on his camaraderie. “I think I could have easily been on the other side of it. There are a lot of things out of our control about buzzing and answering clues. I didn’t feel like I was in too much control and just won. There’s nothing to feel bad about it.”

‘Danger!’ Champion’s father is a big fan
Amodio thanks his father for suggesting that he try his luck on a television quiz show. At first, the Yale student rejected the idea but eventually decided to listen to his father.
“My dad thinks about me a lot,” shared Amodio. “As any father should, I guess. He said, ‘You’re so smart, you should try for the show.’ I said no. I didn’t think I was good enough. In the end, just to silence him, I obliged and took the online test. This led to an in-person audition and eventually a contestant.”
It turns out that the father really knows best, as Amodio reluctantly admitted.
“I grinned, ‘Well, Dad, you were right on this,’” Danger! Champion revealed. “I’m so glad I did. I was always looking forward to becoming a lifelong fan and viewer. To get a chance to be on the show? I still can’t believe it.”

Emodio got his trivia training by looking clearly Danger! throughout his childhood. His early mastery at the quiz board clearly paid off.
“It was going on in my house from the time I could understand what the words were,” he said of the game show. “My parents were my everyday watchers for the rest of my life, so I grew up with it. Eventually, I started being able to interact with the show on my own.”

When Jennings made his game show debut in 2004, a computer science student would be taking notes. Amodio is a follower of this. Danger! She goat.
“I was a big fan of Ken Jennings,” commented Amodio. “It was like a sporting event. If there was gear, I’d buy gear and a big foaming finger to root it out of my living room. I am Huge Kane fans. Need to say again. When I grew up, I started learning more things, but it never really occurred to me to try out for the show.”
