Billions of pounds have been invested in the area in recent years, including the redevelopment of the Battersea Power Station.
The coal-fired power station is now home to luxury flats and penthouses as well as offices, shops and restaurants. It also has a cinema and a chimney lift. A new US embassy has also been built in Nine Elms.
Despite the recent drop in average home prices near the stations, property experts suggest that values will increase, at least in the surrounding areas.

Buying agent Henry Prior said: ‘While some might expect the new stations to be filled with people fleeing the nightmare at Nine Elms Street, these new infrastructure nodes are really going to give the area a real lift.
