There is this terrifying moment when a paddleboarder nearly became shark bait, as he fell off his board surrounded by deadly fish.
Brody Moss, an Australian filmmaker and ocean enthusiast, was filming his serene marine environment when he encountered a group of sharks.
In the video, which has since gone viral on TikTok, Brody can be heard saying: “They look like they are ready to hunt, I feel like if I even put my foot in the water Then they’ll go over that.”
A few seconds later, he loses his balance and falls into the water meters away from the shark lurking beneath him.
The YouTuber then shamelessly gets back on his board without drawing the shark’s attention.
After the horrific encounter, Brody said: “I love these kinds of things.”
The video has garnered over 831,000 views on TikTok, with viewers impressed by Brody’s calm nature around Hungry Fish.
TikTok users didn’t shy away from sharing their true feelings about the video, with one viewer saying in the comments: “Not at all. No. No, please god no. You didn’t just fall and survive. I would have passed out in pure fear.” And either drown or eat”.
Another said: “So much worry in two seconds.”
One Australian admitted, “I’m really pissed at your fall. Made my heart race. This would be my worst nightmare.”
Brody is no stranger to the ocean, or what lies within.
In another TikTok video, which has garnered over 50 million views, the Aussie can be seen confronting a “sexually depressed” sea snake, which is leaning towards her.
“Sea snakes generally avoid humans, but at this time of year they become very active, sexually frustrated and potentially aggressive as they seek a mate,” he explained.
