A shocked TikToker found a large clump of “human hair” from a 100-year-old grave, prompting users wildly to suggest that the bodies may have been brought in by heavy floods.
Joel Morrison, 37, K california Made the horrifying discovery while visiting St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Sacramento.
He saw a huge tuft of hair coming out of a crack in the gravestone.
Joel was stunned by this discovery and wasn’t sure it was “real” at first.
The handyman said: “But upon closer inspection, I realized it was definitely human hair coming out of the grave.”

One said: “Pull the hair and if it screams – run.”
Another user commented, “Why am I so scared?”
The horrifying discovery has led some to speculate as to what had happened.
One onlooker said: “You all: it certainly can happen, especially after heavy floods and rains. It can, unfortunately, bring up dead bodies.”
One user claimed: “It looks like they are buried near a tree. A funeral director once suggested not to be buried near trees because something like this could happen.”
Other TikTokers suggested that an animal found the hole and tried to make a bed in its nest, while one onlooker said that it looked like the grave had been moved.
The clip has garnered over 1.5 million views and over 290,000 likes.
Joel returned to the tomb a few days later and found that the hair had apparently been pushed back into the crack.
He suggested that there was a large tree near the tomb and that its roots had grown in the tomb.
Joel said: “Then once the grave was opened, squirrels, rodents, and whatever other animals were free to move in and out. It looked like they were probably trying to build a nest in human hair.”
The handyman plans to take a sample of the hair to the coroner’s office to find out if it’s human.
