TORONTO: Hamilton police say a man abducted early Thursday was found hours after a shooting and a home attack that killed one of his sons and the other in critical condition.

Shortly before 3 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the area of ​​Glencaster and Dickenson Streets in the city’s Mount Hope neighborhood.

When officers reached the spot, they saw two men suffering from bullet wounds.


Police said the men, who are brothers in their 20s, were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said one person later died of injuries.

His identity has not been released.

According to police, his father was “forcibly taken away” from the residence in a dark SUV.

The kidnapped person has been identified as 63-year-old Fakir Ali.

About six hours after the incident, police said Ali was located near Beach Boulevard in Hamilton after being dumped by a vehicle.

Police said Ali was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to the police, all three victims lived in the same house.

Police believe the incident has been targeted.

No information has been released about the suspects.
