Viewers of EMMERDALE have pointed to a “ridiculous” costume mistake that occurred when Mina Jutla continued torturing Andrea Tate in dramatic cat-and-mouse scenes.
The Yorkshire-based soap quickly departed from the tense cliffhanger of Wednesday night, with Mina following a frightened Andrea.
However, while the nail-biting episode left some viewers on the edge of their seats, other eagle-eyed fans were distracted by a minor glitch.
During the lengthy fight sequences between the pair, none of the characters decided to take off their adventure helmet, leading to heavy scrutiny from fans on Twitter.
A disappointed onlooker questioned: “Why is she following him with an idiot even though they both have helmets on?”
Echoing his comments, another fan said: “You’d take your helmet off for a scrap, right?”
Someone else said: “I’m sorry, but I can’t help but smile at how strange it is to have two characters who look like children’s helmets when trying to act out a scene that calls for play, but its Instead create sniggers.”
While Andrea managed to outdo Mina on several occasions, it was Killer Nurse who finally got the last laugh.

After Andrea’s fall, Mina approaches him and finally removes her helmet while keeping it on her head.
He then ruthlessly dragged Andrea out of view, leaving her unconscious, while a misfire caused the fire to spread around the maze.
As the first episode ends, the fate of both Andrea and Charles hangs in the balance.
Mercifully, Victoria recovered after Mina attempted to drown her in dramatic scenes that aired earlier this week.
Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV on Friday, 22 October 2021.
