The first pairing of Dancing on Ice has been revealed alongside former Strictly Star Brendan Cole and series 10 winner Vanessa Bauer.
Pro dancer Brendan, 47, has been tipped for skating glory thanks to his smooth moves, and Vanessa is certainly happy to partner with him.
Announcing her celeb on Instagram, Vanessa said: “We’re both incredibly excited about this new partnership and can’t wait to go above and beyond hoping to put some magic on the ice for you! .
“Let’s do this fellow!!!”
Fans were very happy with this pair and are supporting them in every way.
One wrote: “Amazing news, good luck to you both ️ can’t wait to see you again ️ Vanessa and Brendan for the win ️.”
Another said: “Looks like a winning combination to me.”
A third posted: “This is going to be amazing.”
Given that each of Vanessa’s past four partners have been impressive on the ice, Brendan is under pressure to perform.
She finished runner-up with Perry Keely and Wes Nelson respectively, while she was a better one and won in 2018 with Jake Quickenden.
The year was not as successful, though his time with Emmerdale’s Joe Warren-Plant was cut short as he tested positive for the coronavirus.
Former Strictly Man, James Jordan has also set the bar high for Brendan by winning the competition in 2019.
Meanwhile the competitive Kiwi has already become embroiled in beef with fellow celeb Ben Foden.
He reportedly turned down the group WhatsApp group after Ben asked the celebs to share their numbers.
