Gil Grissom and Sarah Siddle find out more about David Hodges
‘CSI: Vegas’: Jorja Fox says it’s ‘fun’ to play Gil and Sarah as a married couple
Gil and Sarah Siddle (Jorja Fox) are barred from working on the Hodges case because of their relationship. But they are determined to find out what’s going on. Sara is allowed to look into the murder case, however and finds a shoe print. Pollen from a rare tree was in the footprint.
Gil and Sara visit Hodges in prison. Sarah is convinced he is innocent, while Grissom questions how well they know him. A pregnant woman then hugs him, which takes them by surprise. They did not know that they had a family.
Eli and Joshua trace the evidence back to a club called Scramble. This is a swingers club where Nate and Genie were members. They find a G-wagon outside and look for evidence. The mail was inside for Scramble’s Bigg Boss Anwar Hassan.
Gil, Sarah, Hodges and Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) meet. Hodges tries to convince them that he didn’t, but Gil and Jim are unsure. Hodges said he was acting as an expert witness, and the woman in his life convinced him to leave his previous job behind. After Grissom lists some of the things in the storage unit, Hodges has a theory that someone stole his belongings that are missing from his move.
Eli and Joshua look into the scuffle and discover that there are cameras in the walls. Hassan has been blackmailing and extorting members. Thereafter, he has been brought for questioning. Hassan is kicked out, as he has a tremor and cannot hold a gun.
Evidence suggests Hodges may be innocent after all
Sarah and Gil visit Hodges’ new place. They found no evidence of a break-in. Grissom still suspects Hodges, and Sarah tells him to at least trust him. As they leave their place, they notice that Hodges’ neighbor’s dog is missing. They think that someone killed the dog and buried it in the neighbor’s house.
The married couple brings the dog to Maxine and Hugo Ramirez (Mel Rodriguez), who realize that Nate and Ginny’s killer has small feet but is wearing big shoes. They bring in Christy (Stevie Lynn Jones), who worked in the melee. Nate and Ginny learn that Hassan is sick, so they start a fight for extortion. Christie kills them to get people back in line.
We’re still left with Hodges’ case. The autopsy of the dog revealed that someone had crushed its skull. But before he died, he bit the person. Gill and Sara have a theory that an intruder came a week ago based on its timing. Maxine says that Gill may be an advisor on the matter, so he is officially back.
It looks like Sarah may be absolutely right. CSI: Vegas fans must see cbs show To learn more, see Gil back at work next week.
