Britney Spears has called out Christina Aguilera for failing to speak up about the “toxic” singer she faced in her stereotype about abuse.

On Friday, Spears shared a clip to her Instagram Story of 40-year-old Aguilera answering questions on the red carpet for Thursday’s Latin Grammy Awards. The short video shows Aguilera being asked by a reporter if she has had any communication with Spears, 39. Aguilera sees a handler next to her, who quickly chimes in, “We’re not doing this tonight, I’m sorry though, thanks, bye.”

Aguilera then replied, “I can’t but I’m happy for him.”

Spears reacted to her story at the moment and seemed attuned to Aguilera’s apparent silence on the matter.

“Thanks @ladygaga for taking your time to say something so kind indeed. You made me cry!!! I love you!!!” Spears said.

Aguilera’s reps did not immediately return Granthshala News’ request for comment.

A judge ruled to end Britney Spears stereotypes this month after 13 years.

In recent months, Spears has been more vocal about the 13-year-long court order. The pop singer gave a scathing testimony in Los Angeles Superior Court over the summer in which she accused her father, Jamie Spears, of “stereotypical abuse.” His stereotype was dispelled earlier this month once and for all.
