According to reports, multiple shots were fired early Saturday on the gaming floor of the Golden Nugget Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, resulting in the death of one person and the arrest of another.
Biloxi police arrested 30-year-old Jerem Lamond Jones of Mobile, Alabama, and charged him with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a 41-year-old man from Gulfport, Mississippi, whose identity was not disclosed.

There was an argument between the suspect and the victim outside the casino, when the suspect chased the victim and killed her with multiple bullets from close range, Alabama’s AL.com reported.
Officials said no other people were injured. It was unclear whether casino patrons and staff were close to where the shooting took place.
Police said in a statement that they did not immediately know whether the suspect and the victim knew each other.
Responding officers arrested Jones in the area of the Biloxi Bay Bridge, Police said in Facebook post. The post said emergency responders tried to provide assistance to the victim before she died.
