Derek Frazier makes it to the final two on ‘Big Brother 23’
‘Big Brother’ fans call Derek’s game ‘unbelievable’ after hurting his chances in Final 2
The final three of the season were Azah Avsum, Xavier Prather and Derek. This was quite a shock, as Derek didn’t win a single contest and Ajah won very few.
But in the end, Javier won the last head of the house. He chose Derek to sit next to him in front of the jury and knocked out Azah.
Fans have speculated that it will be an uphill battle for Derek to win, judging by his performance in the game. The jury also knew that it would be difficult for Derek to explain his game, but they gave him some questions before their vote.

The jury had questions for Derek and Xavier before the vote. Brittini D’Angelo asked him to name two major decisions he took. “So number one, I started The Cookout, all six members,” he claimed. “Number two, every time someone HOH is in charge, I made sure to come up with the real facts about who was going to target someone outside the cookout. I always have The Cookout in front of me.”
He also claimed that he always made the decisions himself. “I don’t have to take anything from anybody. Anyone can get it at any time, and you will know it,” he said. Some of the jurors started laughing.
Hannah Chaddha told him that some people thought he was for fame rather than sport and asked how he reacted to it. “I came here and made it clear that yes, I wanted to be on TV, but I was here for bigger reasons,” he replied. “I made it clear that I wanted to be here to help my mom, and this was an opportunity for money.”
Then he claimed that he played the game. Derek said that everyone was sitting in those seats because he entertained them and sent them home the whole time. Again, the jury members start laughing.
Sarah Beth Steagle then asked Derek, in addition to starting fights, to clear doubts over The Cookout, what he contributed to the alliance. He reiterated that he was in the ears of those who won HOH. Derek also claimed that if there was anything that needed to be done he made sure it was executed.

After questions, Derek and Xavier gave a final speech explaining why they should win. Javier won by a vote of 9–0, but Derek said he was happy to be runner-up when Javier chose him. Xavier will get $750,000 and Derek will get $75,000.
Derek also revealed that he is the son of boxing legend “Smokin’” Joe Frazier. Javier claimed that if he had known, he would still have carried Derek to the end. It seems like everything worked out for Derek in the end, even though he had a rocky jury section.
