Hannah Ferrier laughed when she recalled the only fight she’d ever fought in a below deck mediterranean maker and it included a sandwich.
Ferrier actually describes that moment as a meltdown, which she had opposite executive producer Nadine Rajabi. Ferrier had trouble eating on camera, so he stopped eating. She also faced anxiety from the first charter and shared a photo of Rajabi patiently trying to feed her when Ferrier was clearly struggling.
His recent story also revolves around food, which Ferrier found quite humorous. “Me and he are very, very close,” Ferrier said of Rajabi to him. Dear diary, you are fed podcast.
“And the only argument we’ve ever had, which is hilarious, is over a sandwich,” she said. “Yeah! Only once have we fought! Because I had this thing on camera where I hated it, like food on camera. And so in the first season I just didn’t eat food, which isn’t healthy.”
“And so I’d say, like, there’s no one, I’m not Mike,” she recalled. “Like, I just want to make a sandwich. There’s like a camera attached to the wall. I don’t want a movie camera in my face when I’m eating it. There’s no one here to just give me a break.”

“And then there was this change of camera people,” she said. “And while I was eating the camera guy came down and I was like, ‘That’s it! I f**k king! I just want to eat my god**n sandwich in peace!’”
“And I started going mentally,” she laughed. “And she’s trying to explain. I’m trying to leave the boat. And it was just like, we’ve got a fight over a sandwich.”
Food certainly seemed to be a hot topic for both Ferrier and Rajabi. Ferrier shared a photo of her draped in a chair wearing sunglasses. “The Reality of Filming below deck!” Ferrier captioned the moment on her Instagram Story. “The production is trying to feed me when I am anxious and I am not eating.”
But Ferrier said his anxiety would become too much below deck mediterranean. She also recalled a time when her panic was so intense that she could not breathe.

“Season 1 I’ll never forget it and I don’t think I’ve ever told anyone that,” Ferrier said. burning in hell podcast. “I had the worst panic attack, and I was lying on the back of a couch on the boat. And I removed my microphone, and I could hear the cameras trying to find me.”
“I was having anxiety and panic attacks,” she continued. “And just trying to breathe but I didn’t want them to hear where I was. It was probably a sign that I shouldn’t have gone back,” she laughed. “When you’re leaning on the back of a couch for like 30 days at your job. Maybe go away?”
Rajabi said he hated to see it below deck mediterranean in pain. “As a producer, I don’t like looking down, but it’s real life and like the audience, we’re watching it unfold in real time,” she told Decider. “It’s the takeaway that’s important.” Adding further, “I really hope that the viewers of the show will find it as engaging to watch as it is captivating. i really believe below deck Franchise is such a great study of human behavior.”
