Momoa admitted that he scratched his cornea, among other injuries, during the shooting of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’.

Jason Momoa revealed that he suffered some injuries while reprising his role as Aquaman.

Momoa, 42, confirmed rumors that he would injure himself on the set of “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” during an appearance on Monday’s episode.Ellen Show.

When asked about the rumors by host Ellen DeGeneres, the actor replied, “I’m getting old.”

“I blew my eyes,” Momoa admitted. “I just got something in it to kinda cut it, and then I have to have surgery, I have a hernia, I’ve lost my ribs. I’m just getting beaten up.”

“It’s going to be a great film, you’re going to love it,” he said to reassure the audience.

Momoa is no stranger to injuring himself. The actor had earlier revealed that he had once broken his femur and injured his face leaving a scar. Momoa was also killed by a stuntman during the shooting of “Braven” in 2018.

“I passed out,” the actor explained at the time (via) Yahoo! News) “A stunt guy hit me. He blindsided me. We didn’t make eye contact, and before I could catch him, he hit me, and everything went black.”

DeGeneres commented on how physically difficult Momoa’s acting job seemed.

Momoa also revealed that he has to undergo hernia surgery and that some of his ribs are out.

“It’s a tough job that got you there,” DeGeneres said. “Every film you’re working on, you’re hurting yourself.”

Momoa replied, “I just give it, yes.” “I love my job and I get a little bit too excited, then a matter of age, you know, I’m just an old superhero.”
