I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here returning in 2021 and will return to Wales for a second season.
Celebrities will face disgusting and terrifying challenges at Gwyrich Castle in North Wales after Covid prevented the ITV series from returning to Australia.
In a first look at the series, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly head to the rolling hills of Wales to come up with new trials for the contestants.
The launch of the promo sees Ant & Dec as two knights riding on their trusty horses – or in Ant’s case, a small pony.
He’s not happy about his transportation, telling his co-host, “I think we have the wrong horses,” but Declan looks away, responding, “I don’t know what you mean.”
As they board their horses, the voice over says, “they will scour the land in search of simple trials.”
It then cuts to the Geordi boys sitting by the fire in the middle of the woods, with their washcloths hung on the lines around them.
The ant said: “What’s worse than eating a pig’s testicles?”
The Deccan thought for a moment before answering: “Two are eating pig testicles!”
Overjoyed with his ideas, Ant enthusiastically writes it down with a quill as we next see him standing in front of a battle strategy table with steel soldiers.
Ant takes a step forward, as the wooden ‘celebs’ are horribly carved in the path of the December soldier.
boys are nextGwrych Castle where they are hoisting the Welsh flag over the castle.
“Here it will be more gruesome than ever,” the trailer promises ominously.
