An Amtrak train collided with a semi-truck carrying several cars Oklahoma Vehicles that flew in the air and injured four passengers on the train were dispatched on Friday, officials said.

The train was on its way from Fort Worth, Texas to Oklahoma City, when the accident occurred around 7 p.m. near Thackerville in Love County, located near the Texas-Oklahoma border. FOX25 Oklahoma City reported.

A passerby recorded a dramatic video of the collision, which showed the semi-truck stuck on the tracks at the train crossing. The video shows that the gate had collapsed on the semi before colliding with the truck of the oncoming train, sending vehicles and debris flying into the air.

An Amtrak spokesperson told FOX25 that four passengers on the train suffered minor injuries. 110 passengers were aboard the train at the time of the accident.

The driver of the semi-truck and his dog were “shaken” but not injured, Love County Sheriff’s Office Said in an update on Facebook.

The fire department said the semi-truck was stuck on the tracks at the time of the accident. The accident caused the locomotive front section of the train to expand, resulting in minor damage to parts of the rail bed.

Officials are continuing to investigate the incident.
