Rios, a spokesman for the Sainte Fe County Sheriff’s Department, said the sheriff’s deputy responded at 2 p.m. on the film set at Bonanza Creek Ranch after a 911 call in which a man was shot. The farm has been used in dozens of films, including the recent Tom Hanks western “News of the World”.
“This investigation remains open and active,” Rios said in a statement. “No charges have been filed in connection with the incident. Interviews of witnesses by the detectives are on.”
