Albert Einstein was given a guided tour of a flying saucer after it crashed at Roswell, it has been claimed.
Distinguished physicist – your E = mc . Famous for2 The formula on mass and energy – according to his former assistant, also saw an alien autopsy.
Dr Shirley Wright said she accompanied him on a top-secret trip to the desert in New Mexico, US.
He detailed what he saw in a series of tape recordings made shortly before his death in 2015 and only now made public.
Dr Wright said the alien craft – which reportedly crashed in July 1947 – appeared to be damaged on one side.
He continued: “It was disc-shaped, sort of concave. Its shape stood up to a quarter of the hangar floor.
“The body of the ship was what I would call a rather reflective material today, but when you got close to it, it was quite sluggish.
“They were very curious what the ingredients were.”
He claimed that the spacecraft was surrounded by guards, photographers and experts who were studying it.
Einstein studied the “propulsion system” of UFOs, Dr. Wright claimed.
He said: “He was not bothered at all by seeing the anecdotal evidence.
“I did not record his early observations in my notes, but he said something that did not surprise him that he had come to Earth.
“It gave him hope that we might learn more about the universe. The connectivity, he said, should be a benefit to both of our worlds.”
He said that he and Einstein were also shown the bodies of five extraterrestrials.
Dr Wright said: “Some experts were allowed a closer look, including my boss.
“To me they looked the same in all five. They were about five feet tall, without hair, with a big head and big dark eyes, and their skin was gray with a light green tinge.
“For the most part his body was not exposed, wearing tight-fitting suits. But I heard he had no navel or genitals.”
Einstein wrote a report and ordered Dr. Wright, who received his PhD in physical chemistry and physics, to keep his mouth shut.
He described how he was chosen from among the many brilliant students to work for Einstein at Princeton University during the summer of 1947.
He kept this secret to himself for almost seven decades but refused to go to the grave with it.
Shortly before her death in 2015, at the age of 85, she agreed to be interviewed by top UFO hunter Sheila Franklin.
The tapes have now been made public for the first time.
The German scientist Einstein, famous for his theory of relativity, had long believed in alien life.
In an interview in 1920 he said: “There is every reason to believe that Mars and other planets are inhabited.
“Why should Earth be the only planet to support human life? It is not a singularity in any other matter.”
Brit UFO expert Philip Mantle, 63, said: “Next year will be Roswell’s 75th anniversary and everyone involved is now dead.
“I’ve been saying for a long time that UFO researchers should now look for items stored in old cupboards, attics, garages, etc., items that have long been forgotten.”
The so-called Roswell phenomenon has fascinated UFO watchers for more than 70 years.
In May, a negative from a 16 mm film claimed to show an alien autopsy sold for £71,000.
